Itinerary

Day 1. Chinggis Khaan Statue and Khukh Nuur Lake.

In the morning we will be driving east side to the Khukh Nuur lake. On the way we will see the Chinggis Khaan Statue and continue driving to Khukh Nuur lake. Khukh Nuur is a beautiful lake where Temuujin was proclaimed as a Chinggis Khaan title and he was elected  for  The Great Khaan of all Mongolian tribes  in 1189. We will be visiting to the Khukh Nuur lake and  see the  wooden statues in the forest where the ceremony took place. The Khukh Nuur is quiet, peaceful and convenient for hiking & sightseeing. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Lunch, Dinner/


Day 2. Baldan Bereeven Monastery

We will visit the ruins of Bereeven Monastery. Once here you can walk around exploring the river, natural landscape and wildlife – a great place for photos. Baldan Bereeven Monastery is one of Mongolia’s most important and historically significant Buddhist monasteries, set in a dramatic valley surrounded by rocky mountains and forested hills. Founded in the 18th century, the monastery is known for its spiritual atmosphere, scenic setting, and ruins that reflect Mongolia’s rich religious and cultural heritage. Day 3. Deluun Boldog in Dadal village

Today’s destination is Deluun Boldog – Birthplace of Chinggis Khaan who selected as the ‘Man of the millennium’ of the world was born in 1162 in Dadal village Khentii province. Deluun Boldog is a scenic hilltop area in central Mongolia, known for its panoramic views of rolling steppe, forests, and distant mountains. It is a peaceful spot for hiking, photography, and experiencing the natural beauty of Mongolia’s countryside while observing traditional nomadic life in the surrounding areas. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 4. Kherlen River

Drive to Kherlen River. Mongolian Great king Chinggis spent his childhood picking mushrooms and berries along the river. The Kherlen River is one of Mongolia’s major rivers, flowing through eastern and central regions and offering lush river valleys amid the steppe and forested landscapes. It is an important natural resource for local communities and wildlife, providing opportunities for fishing, riverside trekking, and experiencing the tranquil beauty of Mongolia’s waterways. Day 5. Shiliin Bogd Mountain in the Dariganga village

Two hundred twenty-two of Mongolian over 300 extinct volcanoes are in the Dariganga village. There are many tales about Shiliin Bogd Mountain and Dariganga country. When you climb the mountain, you will see many volcanoes, even mountains of China at the same time. The Steppe cave is the biggest and the most interesting one among Mongolian 200 caves. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 6. Ganga Lake and Moltsog Sand Dune

Our first stop is Bichigtiin Shahaa rock cliff. Our next point is a place called “Hurugiin Khundii”. It means “a valley has man stones”. Moltsog dune is the most eastern edge of the Mongolia dunes. It is covered with vegetation and combines with numerous natural springs. There are six lovely freshwater lakes. One of them is Ganga Lakein Ganga LakeNature Reserve, where more than a thousand migratory swans congregate in summer and autumn. Stay overnight in a Ger of nomad family. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 7. Nomadic family and wild natural

You can visit local nomads, and they will show you how they manage their livestock and how they make dairy products from milk and such as felt and leather. Stay overnight in a nomadic family’s Ger. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 8. Terelj national park

After breakfast we will be heading to Terelj National Park and enjoy scenery around national park. Terelj National Park is located in the Khentii Mountains and are by its natural beauty and interesting rock formations. Terelj  National Park consisted of forested alpine mountains and  gigantic rock formations such as Turtle Rock, etc. It is the most popular tourist destination among the foreign and domestic tourists. The area of Terelj National Park is ideal for hiking, horseback riding,  climbing, sightseeing view and photography.
You will have opportunity to ride Mongolian horse with local guide about a hour. Stay overnight in a nomadic family’s Ger. /Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner/


Day 9. Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. End of the service. /Breakfast, Lunch/
